Isles of Palms

This is the most pet friendly beach in Charleston, SC. ; Dogs may be on the beach year round; Dogs can be off leash April 1 – September 14 from 5-9 am

September 15 – March 15 before 10 am and after 4 pm. Dogs must be leashed at all other times of the day.

Sullivans Island

Strictest Dog rules of all of the Charleston beaches. All dogs must have a Permit ($40 for visitors); Dogs may be off leash from 5 am-10 am during the summer months, and on leash from 6 pm-5 am

No dogs allowed on the beach from 10 am to 6 pm

Folly Beach

October through April, leashed dogs may run, walk, fetch and swim any time of the day. From May through September (Summer Season) Dogs may not go not he beach from 10 am-6 pm
