Walk around the charming historic city of Charleston
Many of the beautiful historic sites can be seen, by walking the charming streets of Charleston. The historic Charleston Meeting market is also fun to check out. Most shops on King Street are dog friendly, and even cater to the pups by placing a water bowl outside. Our Favorite dog boutiques are Woof Gang Bakery, and Hairy Winston. Rainbow Row
Fun location for the perfect Instagram photo. Rainbow Row consists of 13 colorful pastel homes, and is the most visited and photographed place in Charleston.
Waterfront Park with the famous Pineapple Fountain
Visit the Pineapple fountain to take in the beauty of the harbor, while also having park for your pup to sniff around.
The Battery
The Battery got it’s name as it was a landmark seawall promenade, and now home to some of the most exclusive homes and real estate
Charleston Water Taxi
Enjoy the fresh ocean air with your pup, as you ride along the dog friendly water taxi. The water taxi runs between downtown Waterfront Park/Market, USS Yorktown, Aquarium Wharf. Cost is 14 dollars fro an all day pass, and dogs & children under 3 ride for FREE
Marion Square Park
Over six acres of green space in the heart of downtown Charleston. Home to many events such a the Charleston Farmers Market which takes place seasonally every Saturday April-November 8-2pm. The location is perfect for relaxing with your and pup on the grass.
Old Charleston Ghost Tours
A city as old and rich in history as Charleston, it’s no surprise that there are some spooky tales to be told. There are many walking tours that tell the tales of the ghosts that live in Charleston
Magnolia Plantation
Historic house and stunning gardens with large variety of plants and flowers such as camellias and azaleas. Dogs are allowed on the grounds, but not in the house, trams or tours. Please be careful of the wilderness, such as Alligators.
Day trip to gorgeous nearby beaches
Uber, or better yet rent a car for the day and check out the picturesque South Carolina coastline. You could easily spend a whole day at the beach, as there are restaurants, and bars right by the beach. Learn more about the local beaches here (link article to beaches)
